Lamplighter School was established in the year 2008 with our directors Mr. and Mrs. Keter. It started as a small organization and later grew into a fully organized learning institution. Not forgetting our first teachers, Mr. Ilinga, Mr. Jelimo together with Mr. Tarus who did their very best encouraging the continuity of Lamplighter fraternity.

Lamplighter School has gradually grown in academic performance with Nadia Jepkosgei’s setting a record of 432 which was almost broken by Hope Grace Akello, Who attained 430 marks.

Lamplighter has well trained teachers who have greatly contributed to the pleasing performance we have had over years.

Lamplighter school also participates in sports and games whereby in some years we have participated upto National level. This also encourages nurturing of talents. The school also has various clubs such as chess and scouting club. Agriculture and environmental among others.

Each and every class goes for an educational tour to various places at least once per year. Means of transport for the school has not been a difficult because of the school buses and van.

The school has a pioneer’s park which consists of various species of trees. It also produces horticultural products from the green house. We are happy to be part of the Lamplighter’s Community and hope that it will continue giving out the best.
