When people ask me ‘Why?’ I reply ‘Why not?’
Why not be part of the amazing institution that brought what was once my mere dream to actualization?
The perfect eye opening institution enabling me to look towards the future with positive expectation and in turn yield powerful force on the present. Not only did this institution take my education status to a new level but also helped in my all rounded growth educationally, physically and socially. Here is where I made the greatest friendship of all time.
Every student deserves the chance and has the right to explore his/her glorious potential and where better than the Lamplighter school, where the entire fraternity is geared towards helping students believe in themselves when no one else does and working with them to cultivate hope where seemingly there was none. This remain two of the greatest gifts I ever acquired from being part of the school.
Kitale was and truly will remain the best place to be.

I studied in lamplighter school for seven years and as a pioneer student I had the privilege to watch it grow into an amazing learning institution. We all know that it is widely known for its exemplary academic performance and being an alumnus I’m very proud of that.
I would not fail to mention that the teachers here are very hardworking, willing and committed. They reliably went beyond the academic teaching to instilling in us vital life skills that have helped me all through the way. The great team of non-staff members never failed in their duties to make us comfortable and focused on our studies.
I personally really enjoyed the meals and even though I was in a great national school, I honestly admit that their meals are nothing compared to those of Lamplighter School.
As part of its mission statement, LLS ensured holistic development for the children by promoting co-curricular activities like sports. Although I’m really terrible in athletics, I always looked forward to sports day. The preparations and competitions were always very thrilling and exciting. Watching parents and teachers compete in races was really something to look forward to.
LLS also really promoted our spiritual growth. We always went for PPIs every Friday where we sang and prayed. Even though the church was slightly far, that did not prevent us from going to church every Sunday and we had to give offerings. This taught me to have a giving heart.
Lamplighter School greatly taught me time management and for that I am truly grateful.
What more can I say, Lamplighter has honestly been a great place to acquire useful knowledge and grow holistically.
Truly Lamplighter is the place to be!
